I am passionate about the natural world. My paintings come from my deep love and sense of connection with nature. I strive to recreate in my paintings the joyful sensation of being outdoors. My art is about the vividness of color, the energy of living things and what happens when you slow down long enough to truly see and appreciate it. My art is a way for people to connect with nature and the beauty of their surroundings so they will work to protect it. I paint to inspire and because I am inspired by what I see. I specialize in creating richly colored watercolors, as well as oils and acrylic paintings which capture the beauty of the Hudson Valley.
